I don’t like snow–the lack of it here is one reason I love living in Virginia.
But even here snow falls. God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change.
When I said that prayer, it came to me that it is very hard, impossible actually, to please everybody. Some of my friends were no doubt thrilled to wake up to snow.
So, for them, God, I say, Thanks for the snow! May they feel your blessing.
And may I, too, feel the blessing of your creation–in all its beauty, even the snow.
I also remember that each day of February brings us that much closer to April and warmth. Thanks be to God!
